Home Trophy Gala

15th June 2019

Well it has been several years but it had to come to an end eventually - congratualtions to Wycombe who took home our Trophy with a really strong performance. Aylesbury Blue came second ahead of Witney, 4 Shires, Aylesbury Yellow and Henley. Despite not winning the gala there were many really great swims from swimmers in both teams. Lots of PBs and some excellent racing.

Many thanks to Mark, Ellen, Vicki and Chris for your help poolside and to our great team of officials and helpers who continue to ensure our galas are the best run - bar none!

SE Regionals 2019 - Day 6

25th May 2019

The final day of the SE Regionals for Aylesbury was all about Millie in the 50m backstroke, and she didn't disappoint. With the second fastest time by an Aylesbuy swimmer ever she booked a place in the final where she went on to finish an impressive 6th. Her time also puts her in with a shout of English Nationals.

So that's it for the 2019 Regionals. Well done to all our swimmers who competed in what is one of the toughest regions in the country with some age groups boasting over 700 swimmers. Puts a top 30 finish into perpective!

5th May 2019

Day 2 of the Regionals in Wycombe was all about our girls in the 200m breaststroke. With all four of our qualifiers adept in the short course version of the event, where their quality turns really help, the long course version is a completely different experience.

Jessica kicked off proceedings with a personal best to finish 19th. Izzy also set a personal best to finish 13th. Libby and Charlotte both had strong swims to finish just outside their best times in 13th and 15th respectively.

Final day tomorrow.
