County Championships 2019 - Day Two

12th January 2019

The second day of the championships was the 800m event and we had six swimmers competing this year, our biggest ever entry. Noah and Ellis were up first and both swam superbly to take 12 seconds off their best times and break the 12 minute barrier. Emily Curtis had a great swim to set a 6 second PB to go under 11 minutes for the first time. Despite a leg injury, Will took an amazing 16 seconds off his personal best to improve on his ranked entry. Jessica Creasy and Harry Phillips were a little off their best times but both went faster than they had this time last year, boding well for their preferred events in a few weeks time.

Well done to all our swimmers and full results are on our results page.
